About Conference

2015 International Symposium on InfoComm & Media Technology in Bio-Medical & Healthcare Application (2015 IS-3T-in-3A) will be held during November 15-18, 2015 at Chiba University, Japan. This is the fifth version of IS 3T-in-3A after it was successfully held at Lijiang, Yunnan (2010), Nishi Chiba (2012), Tao-Yuan (2013), Shanghai (2014), respectively. The Symposium will be jointly organized by Chiba University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, National University of Singapore, Chang Gung University, and Southeast University.

The aim of the symposium is to spur the collaborations between technology providers and adopters by establishing an international platform for exchanging knowledge about cross‐disciplinary applications of information, communication and media technology in biology, medicine and healthcare. As such, the inaugural symposium will include not only technical seminars but also plenty of opportunities for the participants from academia, research institutions, and companies to interact with one another.

The symposium will include

  • Keynote Speeches: to give overview of R&D programs and activities of bio‐medical engineering in industry, clinic, and academia at a high level.
  • Leading/Interactive Talks: to update the latest progress and demands in applications of InfoComm and Media technology in R&D and production of Bio‐medicine and Healthcare.
  • Panel Discussion: to explore interactively the opportunities to collaborate with each other.
  • Tutorial Sessions: to present different technological solutions with a focused view on the biomedical and healthcare aspects by leading researchers in each topic; to define the need and the challenges, and their future potential by clinical presenters.
  • Student Poster Session: to encourage students in the relative research areas to present their new results and communicate with all the participants.
