for Maternal and Child Health

It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the 61st Congress of Japan Society of Neonatal Health and Development (JSNHD) to be held in Osaka, Japan from December 1st to 3rd, 2016 at Osaka International Convention Center. This congress will be organized in conjunction with the 26th Annual meeting of Japan Academy of Neonatal Nursing (JANN) from December 2nd and 3rd at the same site.

Our theme of this congress is "Let’s Discover Treasures and Learn Something New from the Babies! ". People from the time of the baby, the zest for living is located in among itself. Discovering the "baby" is to know the baby that has given the power to live by their own. When we can know the baby more, we can find their needs more.  We will promote the highest standards of clinical and basic research in perinatal and neonatal medicine.

We will invite Professor Jonathan M. Davis, Tufts University as a speaker of “ Neonatal Medicine, Next Stage” and Ms Phyllis Klaus, DONA international as a speaker of “ The Doula Cares”.

We will also invite guest speakers from Korea and Taiwan as  representatives of both neonatal societies for next joint neonatal conference with Taiwan, Korea and Japan. We will set up international sessions for Taiwanese and Korean neonatologists.

We hope that the 61st Congress of JSNHD will give you a good opportunity to look back the progress to date and envision the future of neonatal medicine in Japan. We look forward to having compassion to the baby and mother with us as possible.
