1: How to submit your Abstract

The abstract for Workshop1, Workshop 2 or General Session must be written in English and submitted by uploading through the UMIN System

2: Period of Abstract submission

Submitted your Abstract can be modified through the submission system within the above period.

No modification or cancellation accepted after the deadline.

3: Style of presentation

 Workshop sessions (Oral presentations)

1. Hyperthermia Up to Date in Asia (English or Japanese)
   

   Applicants can choose your presentation as either English or Japanese.

2. Development of the New Modality in Hyperthermic Cancer Therapy (English or Japanese): Applicants can choose your presentation as either English or Japanese.

* After reviewing abstracts submitted to the Workshop Sessions, the Program Committee may ask you to present on the General Sessions.

General sessions (Poster presentations).

Poster should be written in English.
Applicants should make a brief oral presentation to introduce your Posters. Applicants can choose your brief oral presentation as either English or Japanese.

The 6th Asian Congress of Hyperthermic Oncology (ACHO): English

The 31st Japanese Congress of Thermal Medicine (JCTM): Japanese or English

* Please note that Abstracts, Posters and Slides should be written in English.

* All abstracts submitted will be reviewed by the Program Committee.

The Program Committee will announce the final decision of the presentation style when the program is set.

Based on the result of abstract review, the Program Committee may ask you to do the presentation in General session instead of Workshop (for author who has agreed to present at General session.)

4: Abstract submission

1. Configure your arbitrary login ID and password when you submit your Abstract.
   You can modify the submitted abstract before the closing date, 12:00 pm. May 30, 2014.
   Login ID and password will be required when making modification, cancellation or receiving a confirmation through the submission system.
   

   * Please save your login ID and password for we do not answer any questions concerning login ID or password for Personal information protection.  

2. Abstract preparation and restrictions
   Prepare your Abstract following the regulation below
   • Title: not greater than 20 words
   • Text : not greater than 400 words
   • Number of co-authors: 10
   • Maximum of affiliations: 10

   * Text of abstract must be left-justified

   * “Required” columns on the submission system must be filled to go to the next steps.

3. All columns on the registration (submission) system should be filled in English.

5： About the submission system

This online submission system, UMIN system, only responses to  submissions through the browsers of ‘Internet Explorer’, ‘Netscape’, ‘Safari’ or ‘Fire Fox’.

This submission system is secured by VeriSign services.
Your private information will be encrypted using a VeriSign SSL Certificate to secure you against wiretapping, falsification, spoofing etc. by third parties.

7： Acceptance of Abstract

The Meeting Organizer will announce the acceptance after all submitted abstracts reviewed by the Program Committee.

9： Abstract submission

Enter the text of your abstract into the Abstract box. You can also paste the text of your abstract processed off-line into the box.

Abstract title must be not greater than with 20 words, the text must be not greater than 400 words.
Abstract must be written in JIS standard font.

For personal information security reasons, we recommend you to use encrypted communication when submitting your abstract.

1. You will receive a registration number by email after submitting abstract.
   The submitted abstract can be modified within the period of registration through the submission system. Login ID and password will be required when making modification of submitted abstract.  
2. When making the registration, it might take few seconds to go through the registration page after clicking the “Registration” icon.
   Repeat clicking “Registration” icon will duplicate your registration.
