Hydrogen is a key technology for the realization of de-carbonization by connecting resources

such as fossil fuels and renewable energy with carbon capture and storage, many countries

are implementing efforts to allow for the use of hydrogen.

It is expected to contribute to economic growth as well as energy security while

simultaneously protecting the environment both in terms of improving air quality and

reducing greenhouse gas emissions by using hydrogen in daily life and in industrial activities.

The meeting will bring together ministers of major countries committed to hydrogen-related

efforts worldwide, representatives of private companies and other stakeholders.

Participants will exchange views on innovative developments in each country, the latest

knowledge and possibility of international cooperation, and will hold in-depth discussions on

future directions of policies for global utilization of hydrogen.
