Welcome Message

Dear, AACRT & EACRT members

First of all, I would like to express my deepest sympathies to those who have died of this new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). I would also like to gratitude to all my fellow’s who are at the forefront of medical setting under these circumstances. COVID-19 spread widely in not only Japan but also the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, there was a very difficult year, however its momentum is stopping now.

The 23rd Asia-Australasia Conference of Radiological Technologists (AACRT) and the 28th East Asia Conference of Radiological Technologists (EACRT) will be held from November 12th to 14th, 2021 at TOKYO BIG SIGHT in Tokyo. We will hold conventional conference presentations, lectures, seminars, etc. to explore new methods and possibilities for future society by an online conference. Although it is necessary to change due to uncertain infectious disease response and changes in the situation. We apologize for any inconvenience, but let's move on to the new future with us.

The Japan Association of Radiological Technologists(JART)ran for the host country at AACRT held in Singapore in 2015. However, in competition with Australia, Asian 16 countries voted the same number. Therefore, as a result of the lottery, AACRT 2019 was Australia and AACRT 2021 was Japan.
The theme of this conference is " Diversity of technology and harmony of people", and we are preparing for it. In addition, we have inherited the philosophy of "Connecting Medical Care, Connecting "Wa", One for all, All for one", which is the theme of the Kanto Koshinetsu Conference of Radiological Technologist held in Tokyo in June of 2 years ago. We would like everyone to be very interested in the connected “Japanese”, the location and culture of Tokyo.

Unfortunately, we cannot meet in person. However, I look forward to seeing you virtually at this conference.

Best Regards

the Japan Association of Radiological Technologists (JART)
President
Katsuhiko Ueda
