Instruction for authors to prepare an abstract for CKJ Joint Congress at Hakone
- Scientific Categories: All abstracts must be submitted to an appropriate scientific category. See the appropriate category below for a complete listing of Scientific Categories.
- 1) Clinical Epidemiology and Prosthodontics
- 2) Fixed/Removable Prosthodontics
- 3) Oral Implantology
- 4) Prosthodontics-Related Biosciences (Regenerative Medicine, Bone Biology, Mechanobiology, Microbiology/Immunology)
- 5) Oral Physiology and Biomechanics (Masticating and Swallowing Function, Parafunction, e.g., bruxism)
- 6) Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders (TMDs)
- 7) Adhesive Dentistry / Dental Materials / Aesthetic Dentistry
- 8) Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Dysphagia Rehabilitation
- 9) Digital Dentistry
- Titles: Abstract titles are limited to 10 words or less (make the title dynamic and conclusive, rather than descriptive). In general, you should capitalize the first letter of each word. Do italicize scientific names of organisms such as streptococci or candida.
- Authors: Enter first (given) name, and last (family/surname) name for each author plus institution/affiliation. One person must be identified as the presenting author.
- Text: All abstracts should be 300 words or less. When composing your text, be sure to use a word processor in order to save your abstract in advance. You should not write your abstract into the online form in case for any reason your internet connection is lost. If the abstract is based on research that was funded entirely or partially by an outside source, then be sure to enter the appropriate information (funding agency and grant number if applicable). You do not need to re-enter the information with your abstract text. However, all external funding MUST ALSO BE included in the presentation if accepted. Tables/graphics/images are not supposed to be included in the abstract.
