Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am pleased to announce that I have been invited to chair the East Asia Hemophilia Forum (EAHF) 2025, and preparations are well underway for the three-day event, which will be held at the Nara (Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA), Japan, on November 13-15, 2025. The forum will be held under the support of Hemophilia Section in Japanese Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.

EAHF is a forum where hemophilia experts from East Asian countries as well as world renowned scholars get together to share their knowledge on the treatment of hemophilia. This event will be 10th anniversary of the forum. The event will feature the latest updates on hemophilia treatment from each participating country, and various sessions, topics, and presentations highlighting the progress of interesting research.

The theme for the forum is “PwH to PwH: From Patients to People - Living with Hemophilia in a New Era.” As hemophilia treatment is advancing rapidly, the theme reflects the possibility of shifting treatment goals from managing patients to helping them live as non-patients.

In November, Nara is adorned with beautiful autumn leaves, and the deer in Nara Park, along with the Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall), will warmly welcome you.

We hope that you will join us in Nara, 2025.

Thank you.

Keiji Nogami

Chairperson of the EAHF2025
