Call for Abstracts – ETS Symposium in Kobe 2025

ETS Symposium 2025 is now accepting abstract submissions for Moderated Posters and Non-Moderated Posters. The symposium will be held in Kobe, Japan, from November 28 to 29, 2025, and a total of 40 posters will be displayed over two days.

1. Abstract Submission Period

May 28 – August 28, 2025 (6 to 3 months before the event)

2. Abstract Topics

ETS Symposium 2025 focuses on the following topics:

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) & Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS)

  • Pharmacological treatments and latest therapeutic approaches
  • Minimally invasive treatments and surgical techniques
  • Long-term management strategies for BPH and LUTS

Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery

  • Endourology
  • Urolithiasis treatment
  • Endoscopic treatment of UTUC
  • Other minimally invasive surgical techniques

3. Submission Method & Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted via on-line system
  • All abstracts must be written in English.

4. Presentation Types

ETS Symposium 2025 will feature the following two types of poster presentations:

Moderated Poster

  • Presenters will give a live on-site presentation at a designated time & place, followed by a Q&A session with moderators.

Non-Moderated Poster

  • Posters will be displayed only, without a presentation session.

5. Poster Format

  • Poster panel size: 90 cm (W) × 210 cm (H)
  • 20 panels will be available each day, allowing a total of 40 posters to be displayed over two days.

6. Abstract Formatting Guidelines

All abstracts should follow the structure below:

  1. Introduction
  2. Materials and Methods
  3. Results
  4. Conclusions
  • Word Limit: Maximum 3,000 characters (including spaces)
  • Figures & Tables: Up to 5 JPG images (each max. 2MB) may be included.

7. Abstract Review & Notification

  • Notifications of acceptance will be sent to presenters in September 2025.
  • Accepted abstracts will be displayed during the symposium and included in the official program.

8. Abstract Withdrawal & Revisions

  • Abstracts may be revised until the submission deadline.
  • After the submission deadline, no modifications or resubmissions will be accepted.
