Greeting
Dear All,
The 67th Congress of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons will be held from 4 to 6 November 2022 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. On behalf of the organizing committee members of JSOMS, I would like to invite all of you to attend the congress and present and discuss your latest achievements.
The conference theme is set as “Learning from history, predicting the future – Rethinking occlusal surgery-“.
I think one of the basics of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is surgery of occlusion. As in the academic society theme, I would like to gather a lot of knowledge from occlusal surgery.
The program will include a Special Lecture given by Prof. Daniel Buchbinder , DMD, MD of Oral, Maxillo-Facial Surgery and Otolaryngology, Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Professor Buchbinder is a specialist in 3D reconstruction of the jaw. We look forward to hearing about the basics of this area and the latest findings.
In addition, we would like to invite research and clinical specialists from another field of Oral, Maxillo-Facial Surgery to create an attractive structure.
With the safety and well-being of our participants as our top priority, we have decided to organize a hybrid conference, which is a combination of on-site and high quality on-line.
We are planning on-line distribution that reproduces the sense of reality that is equal to or greater than local participation.
We look forward to your participation.
With our warmest welcomes,
       Morio TONOGI
President of The 67th Congress of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
1st Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Sleep surgery units,
