About Kyoto International Conference Center

Kyoto International Conference Center (ICC Kyoto) was constructed in 1966 as one of flagship platforms for large-scale conferences in Asia area and since then ICC Kyoto has staged over 16,000 conferences. ICC Kyoto covers a vast site of 156,000 m2 that features Main Building, Annex Hall, Event Hall and a Japanese garden as well as car parking for 500 vehicles. While based on old Japanese styles, the building architecture has a richy modern sense. Three-dimensional and spatial art forms part of the interior and the lobby and lounge are comfortably spacious. Participants can enjoy walking through Japanese garden.

In addition of wrapped rich natural beauty of four seasons, the accessibility to ICC Kyoto is excellent by using public subway.

1.From Kansai International Airport (KIX)

  1. 75 min ride by JR Haruka Airport Express
    These Kyoto-bound trains run every half an hour in the morning and evening and every hour during daytime hours.
  2. 90 min ride by JR Rapid Service
    Take the Kansai airport Rapid Service train to Osaka Station and change trains to a Special Rapid train for Kyoto.
  3. 120 min ride by Airport Limousine Bus
    Airport limousine buses will drop you off at selected destination in Kyoto for a fairly low price.

2.From Osaka (Itami) International Airport (ITM)

  1. 60 min ride by Airport Limousine Bus
    Airport Limousine buses leave regularly to Kyoto Station and selected hotels in Kyoto.

3.From Narita International Airport (NTA)

a.60 min ride by Narita Express Train to Tokyo and train-change to Kyoto by Shinkansen bullet train for 2 hours and 20 mins

Note: Domestic flights to KIX or ITM are limited.

4.From Haneda International Airport (HND)

a.70 min flight to KIX or 60 min flight to ITM
