Call for Abstracts

The 16th Asian Pacific Society of Periodontology Meeting (16th APSP) hereby invites the submission of abstracts for the Poster Session.
Please note that oral presentations are limited exclusively to invited speakers.
Invited speakers will be notified individually regarding the abstract submission period and detailed preparation guidelines.

Poster Submission Requirements

- All poster presenters must complete registration for the 16th APSP Meeting.
- Information concerning the abstract submission period, submission procedures, and notification of acceptance will be announced on this website after March 2026.

Presentation Categories

- Basic Research
- Clinical Research
- Others

Presentation Format

Presenters are required to deliver their presentations on-site at the designated date, time, and venue, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Poster Specifications

- Poster panel dimensions: 90 cm (width) × 210 cm (height)

- Poster numbers will be prepared and affixed by the Secretariat.

- Posters must be prepared in portrait orientation and should comprehensively summarize the full content of the study on a single panel.

- Detailed instructions for poster preparation are provided in the diagram below.

Abstract Formatting Guidelines

  1. All submissions must be made in English.
  2. The title on the Poster must match the title of the abstract.
  3. All titles are limited to 40 words.
    - Total number of Affiliations: Up to 10 Affiliations.
    - Total number of co-authors: Up to 10 co-authors.
  4. All abstracts are limited to 400 words. Longer abstracts will not be accepted.
  5. The required format of the abstract is:
    • Background and Objectives
    • Methodology
    • Result
    • Discussion
    • Conclusion
  6. Institution logo must be placed at top left and first writer photo at top right.
  7. Arial font with appropriate size should be used throughout the poster to ensure it is easy to read.
  8. Make sure to choose font color that contrast with poster background.
  9. Make sure that photo or pictures adjusted in certain size and resolution to ensure it is clear and not blurry.
  10. Graphic and table must be arranged properly in an easy-to-read format.
  11. Poster presentation content:
    • Basic research: introduction, materials and methods, result, discussion (end with conclusion), reference.
    • Clinical research: introduction, case report, case management, discussion (end with conclusion), reference.
