Welcome
On behalf of the Organizing Committee,
we cordially invite you to participate in
						the 15th International Symposium on
Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry (ISABC15) which will be
held in Nara on June 2–5, 2019. The conference hall,
named “IRAKA”, is located in the center of a world heritage
site having an expansive green historical park.
The ISABC15 meeting follows those in Toulouse (2017), Galway (2015),
Guangzhou (2013), Barcelona (2011), Debrecene (2009) and so on.  We are confident that the symposium in 2019 will also be a stimulating and exciting meeting mainly focusing on the application of bioinorganic chemistry directed toward the development of medicines, catalysts, metal-based bionanomaterials, etc.
The main topics of the ISABC15 meeting are as follows:
- Metal-based medicines
- Sensing and imaging
- Metal ions in human health and diseases
- Metal–nucleic acid interaction
- Bioorganometallics
- Natural and engineered metalloproteins
- Advanced spectroscopic methods
- Biohybrid catalysts and enzyme models
- Bioinorganic materials
- Bioinspired energy conversion
The symposium will offer an excellent opportunity to meet many researchers from around the world who are experts in an exceptionally broad range of the topics at the frontier of bioinorganic chemistry. It will be a wonderful chance to share your outstanding results with leading scientists in the quiet and contemplative atmosphere of Nara, the old capital of Japan.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in June 2019.
Best wishes,
